Sely, bénéficiaire du projet Village Modèle en Santé de l’ONG Saint Gabriel à Ambodisiny, témoigne avec émotion de l’impact du soutien reçu :

« Au début, j’ai bénéficié d’une latrine familiale grâce à l’ONG Saint Gabriel avant le cyclone. Pendant le cyclone, tout a été détruit. Mais comme c’était un grand bien pour nous, j’ai décidé de reconstruire ma latrine avec l’aide et le soutien de l’ONG. Maintenant, elle est presque terminée, et je continue toujours d’être reconnaissant envers eux. »

Ce qui touche profondément dans l’histoire de Sely, c’est qu’il a choisi de reconstruire ses toilettes avant même que sa maison ne soit totalement relevée.

Parce qu’il a compris que la dignité, l’hygiène et la santé sont essentielles pour protéger sa famille.

L’ONG Saint Gabriel et Caring Response Madagascar Foundation continuent de se tenir main dans la main avec les familles les plus vulnérables, pour reconstruire non seulement des infrastructures, mais aussi l’espoir et la dignité humaine.

Even after the cyclone, hope is still being rebuilt.

Sely, a beneficiary of the Healthy Village Model project of ONG Saint Gabriel in Ambodisiny, shared this heartfelt testimony:

« Before the cyclone, I received a family latrine from Saint Gabriel NGO. During the cyclone, everything was destroyed. But because it was such an important support for us, I decided to rebuild my latrine with the help and support of the NGO. Now it is almost finished, and I remain deeply grateful to them. »

What is especially touching about Sely’s story is that he managed to rebuild his toilet even before rebuilding his house.

Because he understood that dignity, hygiene, and health are essential to protect his family.
